Jimmy, who is in our local YTB team, went out to his mailbox today and found that he had a check from YTB.  He wasn’t expecting a check and didn’t even know that it was coming, but it was there.  What happened is that someone he had handed out his business card to booked a $3,300 airline trip through his website.  So he received his a 60% commission, and doesn’t even know who the person is.  He then went into his back office (travel portal) of his .com website, and found that there were others who booked trips through his website.  Even his brother had purchased airline tickets.  And since Jimmy is in our Power Team, Laura and I also received a 10% commission from that sale since we are certified.  Thank you Jimmy!

So this just shows you that you need to follow Darren’s 3 foot rule.  If there is anyone within 3 feet of you, hand them your business card.  Remember, people are going to travel anyway.  So why not through your travel website.
